Surge in terrorist activities in Quetta, Badin, Baluchistan, Lahore, attacks on Armed forces in Waziristan, Yesterday’s attack in Kurram Agency and today’s attack on Chinese workers of Dasu Dam site indicate U.S. and Indian proxies are activated against Pakistan one more time.

In emerging geopolitical scenarios, no one is anyone’s permanent friend or foe. The very soul of realistic politicism means the only interest is country’s own interest regardless of how rest of the world envisions it. Withdrawal of U.S. armed troops from Pakistan’s neighboring country Afghanistan without strategy; leaving it on mercy of Taliban after in an unwinnable and inapt war of 20 years. It is evident that imminent chaos within Afghanistan will undoubtedly effect Pakistan negatively in future.

Prime Minister Imran Khan besides military leadership must have foreseen this upcoming unrest to Pakistan. Therefore in a recent interview Inter-Services Public Relations Director General Maj Gen Babar Iftikhar told media that Pakistan was a facilitator of the Afghan peace process and not a guarantor. It is understandable that peace process is in critical stages, however Pakistan has tried to move the process forward with “sincerity”. Also fence has been installed with Pak-Afghans boarder recently to deal with predictable infiltration of migrants from Afghanistan.

Today when 10 persons, including six Chinese engineers and two Frontier Corps personnel, gave their lives and several others were injured near the Dasu Hydropower Plant in the Upper Kohistan district of Khyber Pakhtunkwha. According to the initial reports from officials the nature of the incident is not clear. However it indicates that in wake of developments in CPEC, where Pakistan is strategic partner with China, it is an effort to sabotage whole situation. Anyone can tell who is beneficiary of destroying Pakistan’s status on international level by these terrorist activities generally and Chinese targeted specifically. “Absolutely Not”, a message to U.S. that Pakistan is no more ready to become partner in war with U.S. had incumbency of bring such repercussion.

In current situation while India’s investments in Afghanistan seemed to be “sinking” because of less sincerity towards peace process and with more destructive motives to deteriorate Pakistan’s efforts. Indian frustration looks legal besides U.S. irresponsible withdrawal from Afghanistan without completion of political transition, such cowardly acts as part of proxies wouldn’t harm Pakistan. Rather Pakistan would rise strongly.

However it is suggested that Pakistan’s intelligence agencies to be more vigilant in this regard, as Pakistan has coup up with menace of terrorism already an can do it once more. May Allah Pak keep Pakistan always safe from any destructive element. ameen. Interestingly under leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan Pakistan has realized that “being Pakistan” is important than becoming part of other’s dirty games. Time has come to tell so called masters that Pakistan is sovereign country and would not allow to make it another name in list of war ridden countries.
