Japan provides relief goods for flood victims in Sindh

KARACHI: The Government of Japan has decided to provide emergency relief goods worth about Rs. 37.5 million for the rain victims in the province.
This was said in a press release of the Consulate General of Japan in Karachi on Friday.
It said that the relief goods include tents and water purification equipment and will be provided through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
The press release said that the Government of Japan decided to extend
this aid from a humanitarian point of view in the wake of recent torrential rains in Sindh causing a lot of damages and in the light of friendly relations between the two countries.
