PDMA predicts rain in some areas of Peshawar and Kohat within next 24 hours

PESHAWAR: Latest reports by Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa (KP) government predicted expected rain in some areas of Peshawar and Kohat within next 24 hours. Whereas, weather would remain dry in most of the districts of KP.

The recorded temperatures of various areas in KP are, minimum 26-maximum 37 centigrade in Peshawar, Mardan 26-37 centigrade, Kohat 25-36 centigrade, Bannu 22-37, centigrade, D.I.K 26-37 centigrade and Abbotabad 16-29 centigrade.

According to the reports of Irrigation Department KP; low-level floods have been recovered at river Kabul near Warsik Dam and river Indus, in Attock near Khairabad area, river Panjgora near Taimgarah, river Swat in Khayali area and river Adayz. The water flow in these areas respectively is 32140, 227700, 21444 and 22000 cusecs. Water flow in the rest of the rivers in the province is normal.
