MQM again quits Government

Karachi: MQM finally parted away with the federal and the provisional governments, saying that Peoples party deceived them. Addressing to shocking news conference, MQM leader Dr. Farooq Sattar announced ‘political divorce’ to People’s Party government, added that Governor Sindh Eshrat-ul-Ebad would also be resigned from his post.

Calling Peoples Party’s government as dictator’s rule, Satar said that despite of all criticism, his party had always been supported the government but in response ruling party cheated them. He accused PPP government has not fulfilled its promises and had failed to protect MQM workers, added that the government has given free hands to criminal elements to kill party leaders and workers.

Farooq Sattar accused that to keep away MQM from AJK elections, the government used unconstitutional ways added that these elections were test for MQM. He said MQM supporters were demanding to be quit from government for a long time and this bold decision has been taken in context.

He said people of Pakistan were suffering with so many difficulties including high prices and load shading but the government failed to solve the public problems.

MQM leader said that his party had been engaged in struggle for betterment of people not for family benefits and he reaffirmed that MQM would continue its political efforts. He said govern was never been party agenda and now it was times to sit on opposition benches.-Online
