KP Governor assures cooperation in Pak-Afghan bilateral trade

PESHAWAR: The Peshawar based newly appointed Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, H.E Sayed Muhammad Ebrahim and Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa Governor, Barrister Masood Kausar discussed matters pertaining to further facilitating land route trade and business activities between Pakistan and Afghanistan while Governor assured every possible support and cooperation in this respect.

According to press release issued here on Tuesday, the Peshawar based newly appointed Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, H.E Sayed Muhammad Ebrahim called on the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Barrister Masood Kausar at Governor’s House, Peshawar on Tuesday.

Syed Muhammad Ebrahim who was also accompanied by the First Secretary of the Consulate Mirajuddin remained with the Governor for some time and discussed matters of mutual interest with special reference to the situation along certain parts of the Pak – Afghan border. Matters pertaining to cross border movement as well as to further facilitating land route trade and business activities from this part of Pakistan with Afghanistan also came under discussion and the Governor assured every possible support and cooperation in this respect.-ONLINE
