ISLAMABAD: The widely known Non-Governmental Organization of Saudi Arabia, World Assembly of Muslim youth (WAMY), has handed over four mobile health units to Al- Khidmat Foundation Pakistan to discharge and expedite the health services in the flood affected areas. Project manager WAMY Nasir Abbasi handed over the keys of ambulances to al-Khidmat Punjab president Rashid Dawood here Friday.
Addressing on the occasion, Nasir Abbasi said WAMY would continue its services in the flood- hit areas adding more mobiles and health units would be provided to the flood devastated areas very soon so that epidemic diseases could be averted before the fast- approaching winter season.
He said Saudi people would continue their help and assistance for the flood- affectees of Pakistan and it would continue their support until the rehabilitation of last affectee.
He went on to say that WAMY was planning to build houses for the floods affected people. He maintained that WAMY has a project for the reconstruction of houses, which is underway in order to provide homes to the people before the winter season begin.-SANA
