Five protesters injured in Bandipore

SRINAGAR: At least five persons have been injured by police and paramilitary CRPF force in Bandipore district of Indian held Kashmir on Wednesday. The protesters were injured when the police and CRPF used force for suppressing of protesters in Bandipore.

The protest demonstration provoke in Nusoo, Saderkoot Bala, Takia and Ajas areas as a reaction when two youth beaten by CRPF forces and tried to capture them without any reason. Eye witness told the reporters, five persons including Rameeza Raja, Rafiqa Begum, Showket Ali, Imtiyaz Ahmed and Mudasir were injure due to the CRPF troops brutality and force.

Anti-India and pro-freedom processions were also staged at Galwanpora, Hyderpora, Mochou, Chattabal, Qamarwari and Lal Bazaar areas. However, according to a resident the Paramilitary CRPF personnel beat up civilians without any aggravation at Jawahar Nagar, Nawpora, Rainawari and other areas in Srinagar.

Similarly, troops have captured four persons including Mohammad Farooq Didad, Nasir Ahmad Poswal, Mohammad Iqbal Magray and Qasim Jan from Tangmarg in Kulgam district of South Kashmir.-SANA
