KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Information Secretary Fauzia Wahab has said that 20 references against Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif would be heard after the appointment of NAB chairman. Addressing a press conference here, she stated a number of cases of Nawaz Sharif including Rs 1 billion loan write-off, corruption of Rs 6.80 billion, Raiwind and Hudabia Paper Mills and evasion of taxes, were pending.

She alleged the Opposition leader in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan had covert relations with Pervez Musharraf and he still used to meet Generals. She said that President, Prime Minister and Senate Chairman were elected from Punjab, but at present they were from small provinces and Nawaz Sharif should not cry wolf. She said that PML-N was trying to destabilize PPP government.-SANA
