Taliban commander among three militants killed: NATO

KABUL: As many as three Taliban militants including a commander have been killed in a clash with Nato and Afghan troops in western part of Afghanistan, Nato claimed Sunday. In another incident, another Taliban commander Ajmal Agha Jan was also killed the other day in southern Helmand province’s Marjah district of Afghanistan in a raid, NATO added.

As per details, NATO said three militants including a leader were killed in a clash that erupted when a joint NATO-Afghan unit was following a Taliban commander identified as Mullah Jamaluddin, in Western Badghis province. Sharaf Uddin Majidi, the provincial spokesman confirmed NATO’s claim.-SANA
