ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) Secretary General Mushahid Hussain Sayed Tuesday strongly reacted to the attack by Nato helicopters inside Pakistani territory and termed the act as an attack on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Pakistan. Talking to a delegation led by FATA General Secretary Shahjahan Shah here at the PML-Q House, Mushahid Hussain said that the Pakistan government must take up the matter at the United Nations (UN).
He said after the missile attacks by US drones, now the US helicopters based in Afghanistan were also intruding into Pakistan.
“No Sir, this is a nuclear-capable Pakistan and its people are not only resilient but they are also alive to the threats posed against them. Let me tell the government that these attacks are not acceptable to the people of Pakistan,” he remarked.
Mushahid said that these attacks were open aggression and the government of Pakistan must lodge its protest at all international forum while good relations with friendly nations should also be exploited. Meanwhile, Haji Naseebullah Achakzai, additional secretary general of Balochistan chapter of the PML-Q along with a delegation also called on the secretary general of the PML-Q.
The delegates briefed the PML-Q leader on the relief and rescue operations and devastations by recent floods across Balochistan province. A delegation led by General Secretary PML-Q labour Wing Raja Imtyaz also called on Mushahid Hussain and apprised him on the campaign launched for rehabilitation of the flood victims. Mushahid Hussain said the PML-Q was the only party actively engaged in helping the affected people across country.-SANA
