ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs has said that the US is told that Pakistan could not cross the limit in war on terror. Talking to a private TV channel here on Sunday, he said that Pakistan told the US that Islamabad had its own limits in war on terror and it could not cross as it had concerns over the drone attacks; however, he said that there was some positive aspect of war on terror which were in the interest of the country.
He said that no foreign activity against the terrorist on Pakistani land would be accepted saying that the US had accepted the political solution of the issue along with military solution.
To a question regarding CCPO Lahore Pervaiz Rathor’s statement on Indian involvement in Liberty Chowk and Manawan attacks, he said that it was inappropriate statement and he should have consulted the higher authorities before issuing the statement as he did not know that how his statement would impact badly.
He said that President Asif Ali Zardari wanted peace in Swat and he would follow instruction of the parliament over the issue. The Foreign Minster said that the talks were being held with Friends of Democratic Pakistan to support of affectees of the war on terror.-SANA
