LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League (Quaid-e-Azam) has proposed the formation of a tripartite government in Punjab to resolve the current political crisis in the country. Addressing a news conference, President PML-Q Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain suggested that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) should form a consensus government with PML-Q in Punjab.
Shujaat also proposed that no one from his family would join any such government that formed in view of his proposal. However, he said the PML-N should return his party’s MPAs who formed a forward bloc in favor of Shahbaz Sharif in Punjab Assembly.
“Mian Nawaz Sharif might not have hijacked Musharraf’s plane but he has hijacked our more than 32 MPAs in Punjab Assembly. His party should return those to us… We will welcome our forward block members, they are our brothers.”
PML-Q President who has also served as Prime Minister asked all the political parties to honour the mandate of 18th February and to resolve all their disputes by dialogue.-SANA
