ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz president Mian Shahbaz Sharif said on Monday that his party was waging a struggle for the restoration of real democracy in the country. Addressing a news conference along with senior party leaders here, he said: “We are making efforts for reinstatement of judiciary at its Pre-Nov 3 position.”
The former chief minister directed the workers not to damage the public or private properties and resources and advised them to ensure peaceful protest. On this occasion, he also accused the Interior Adviser Rehman Malik of pilfering Rs500 million from the national exchequer. He further said that N-league was ready for the reconciliation that is acceptable to the nation.
While Prime Minister Adviser on Interior Rehman Malik said on Monday that PML-N president Shahbaz Sharif had leveled baseless and false allegations against him. He said he would serve a legal notice to Shahbaz Sharif after consulting with constitutional experts.
