ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has advised President Asif Ali Zardari to withdraw the Mobile Courts Ordinance. Speaking in the National Assembly on Tuesday, the Prime Minister said as the ordinance was issued when the national assembly was not in session but still he believed that it affected the sanctity of the house which was later convened.
He said he has advised the President under Article 89 of the constitution to withdraw the ordinance. The Prime Minister described attack on Sri Lankan cricket team as a conspiracy against the country and its prestige. Strongly condemning the incident, Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani said he has asked Advisor on Interior to present preliminary investigation report before the House.-SANA
