LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League (N) Leader Nawaz Sharif has said the country’s policies not being devised in Islamabad but to some other place. Speaking at Jamia Naeemia here on Sunday, the former prime minister said previously Musharraf was getting dictation now Asif Ali Zardari is following his footsteps. “Musharraf sold compatriots to foreign countries and Iftikhar Chaudhry was providing relief to them. He was sacked and replaced by other judges,” Sharif said.
He said the people are anxious and Pakistan was sliding into a dark era. “We had respected the mandate of People’s Party with sincerity after the election and signed a pact with Asif Zardari to steer the country out of the crises,” Nawaz said.
“I had no greed of high office, neither I had any personal agenda but Zardari violated the agreement, which had otherwise benefit him more than any other person. “
