Kashmir issue is a potential threat to the international peace

SRINAGAR, Feb 07 (SANA): Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front acting chairman, advocate Bashir Ahmad Bhat has said whether it was the UN Secretary General Bon Ki-moon or the leaders of America and Britain, everyone in the world looked upon Kashmir issue as a potential threat to the international peace and security and emphasized the need for resolving it.

Bhat was speaking at a programme organized by the JKLF in connection with the observance of Yoom-e-Maqbool at Pulwama. He said, Shaheed father of nation, Muhammad Maqbool Bhat had in his message from Tihar jail said, “Allah’s help was always with the people who strive for right cause in a right way.”

“Shaheed Maqbool Bhat merrily kissed the gallows for the realization of the objective of freedom of his homeland. He strived and offered supreme sacrifice of his precious life in a dignified way for the complete independence of Jammu Kashmir,” he said. Bhat was accompanied by Noor Muhammad Kalwal, Javid Ahmad Zargar, Muhammad Sidiq Shah, Bashir Kashmiri, Showkat Ahmad Dar, Javid Ahmad Bhat and other leaders.

Meanwhile, Front has alleged harassment of youth at Watargam in Rafiabad area by the police and troops terming it highly condemnable.-SANA
