Senate elections being given final shape: Dilshad

ISLAMABAD: Secretary Election Commission Kanwar Dilshad said that final shape is being given to schedule for the election of 50 vacant seats in Senate. Talking to SANA on Sunday, he said that any citizen could approach to district court if he has any objection over assets senator. He said details of the assets were also present at Public Accounts and any one can check it.

He said the elections will be held on February 11 to March 11. He said that the elections schedule was announced before the 30 days of the retirement of members. Elections would be held on the 44 seats of all the four provinces, 4 seats of FATA and 2 seats of Islamabad. He said that in every province there were 7 general seats, 2 technocrat seats and 2 seats for women.-SANA
