Country to face immense crisis if judiciary not restored: Qazi

SWABI: Jamaat Islami (JI) Ameer Qazi Hussain Ahmed cautioned that the country would face further crises if the judiciary was not restored. Addressing to the party members here on Sunday, Qazi Hussain Ahmed said that JI would make plan with the consultation of the lawyer for success of the long march on mach 09.

Condemning of US attacks on NWFP and FATA, he demanded of the federal government to adopt clear cut policy to prevent US drone attacks and to quit US alliance against so called war on terror. He said that the people did not consider war on terror as their own was as it was being fought for America and the Jews.

Qazi said that Indian threats were shameful and termed Indian attitude as disregard of the diplomatic manners. He hailed the walkout of Turkish Prime Minister from Davos Conference against Israeli aggression against Philistines” however, it was regrettable that Pakistani Prime Minister did not do so and he was sitting there. JI Ameer said that the real power is in the hands of establishment and all authority of the government is in hands of one person. He said that the rulers who come into power under NRO failed to serve the country

While Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) Youth Wing will set up hunger strike camp at GPO Chowk Murree for restoration of the deposed judiciary February 02. PML-N Youth Wing leader Raja Arjand Nawaz said after the party meeting here on Sunday that following the party traditions in Punjab, the Murree Chapter would also observe hunger strike for the reinstatement of the deposed chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.-SANA
