Nijad likely to visit Delhi, Islamabad

TEHRAN: Iranian President Ahmedi Nijad will likely to visit India and Pakistan to defuse tension between the two countries emerged after Mumbai attacks in this weak. According to well placed resources within Iranian foreign office, he will visit first to New Delhi to hold talks with Indian leadership regarding the on going tension between the said countries and after that he will reach Islamabad to discuss the issue with Pakistani leadership.

It was also said that Pakistani foreign offices was contacted by Iranian authorities in this regard; however, Iranian Minister for Foreign Affairs Manouchehr Mottaki had already hold talks with his Indian and Pakistani counterparts separately on the issue.

It is merit to mention that China had already appointed its envoy on highly diplomatic level to defuse tension between the two countries and on the other part Saudi Arabian Foreign Minster Saud al-Faisal had also visited New Delhi to neutralize Indo-Pak relations.-SANA
