ISLAMABAD: The Nation is celebrating the 132nd birth anniversary of the founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah with a renewed pledged to transform the country into a modern welfare state as envisaged by the great leader.
The day dawned with special prayers at mosques for progress and prosperity of the country followed by Fateh Khawani for Quaid-e-Azam. Political, social, cultural organizations as well as educational institutions have chalked out special programme to mark the day in a befitting manner.
Seminars, conferences and symposia are being held to highlight the struggle of independence and life and achievements of Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Radio Pakistan and Pakistan Television are going to air special programmes while national newspapers have published special supplements on the occasion.-SANA
