ISLAMABAD: US Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Chairman Admiral Michael Mullen has termed Pak-US relations as paramount important. Talking to journalists in the helicopter on his way to Andrew Air Force Base, he said that the solution of problems facing by India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and other Central Asian states lies in their collective strategy against terrorism.
The US general stressed on the need of better Pak-US to win the war on terror terming his meetings with Pakistani leadership as fruitful and helpful to strengthen the relations. He avoided disclosure of the information about his meetings with Pakistani leadership.
He stressed on the need of contacts between Pak-Indian armies which would help to diffuse the war like situation in two counties. It is pertinent to mention that it was his seventh visit to Pakistan after assuming charge of US CJCSC.-SANA
