ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Railways would operate six special Eid trains in the country to facilitate the passengers traveling up and down sections to enable them to celebrate Eid-ul-Azha with dear and near ones, an official said on Friday. According to railways schedule, first special train would leave Quetta on December 6 to reach Peshawar on Dec 7 in the night hours.
The Second special train will leave Quetta on December 7 to reach Rawalpindi in the evening, while the third Eid train will leave Karachi on Dec 6 to reach Peshawar on Dec 7 in the evening. He added that the fourth special train will leave Karachi on Dec 7 in the afternoon to reach Faisalabad, via Multan, Shorkot and next morning.
The fifth special train will leave Peshawar on Dec 8 to reach Lahore in the night and the last special train would operate from Peshawar on Dec 12 to reach Karachi on Dec 13 in the evening, he remarked.-SANA
