LONDON: Former President Pervaiz Musharraf on Friday said that he had come to London to take rest and play golf with friends not for politics. Taking to a private TV channel, he said that he had played golf here after one year and it was a very pleasant experience.
To a question, he said that Pakistanis who were living abroad more enthusiastic than who were living in the country; however, he said that he felt very happy after meeting with them. He expressed his hope that the country would be going ahead and the government should fulfill the expectations of the people in order to increase their pride on the country.
When asked, he said that he would be coming in London in future. It is pertinent to mention that he had doffed off his uniform exact one year back on Nov 29, 2007.-SANA
