ISLAMABAD: All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir hold a protest demonstration against the fraud elections of Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir here on Wednesday. Addressing the protestors the vice chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM) and senior leader of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Altaf Ahmad Bhat termed the elections of Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir a complete military exercise and fraud aimed at hoodwinking the world community on Jammu and Kashmir dispute.
The APHC workers gathered in front of United Nations Military Observers Group for India and Pakistan (UNMOGIP) here to record their protest against the fraud elections and the arrest of APHC leaders in Kashmir. The government of India has announced seven-phase polls in Kashmir and during these elections Occupational forces used brute force to bring out the Kashmiris from their houses to cast the votes.
He said not only the general public but also APHC senior leaders were thrashed and sent behind the bars under black law Public Safety Act (PSA). “We the people of Jammu and Kashmir will fight till the last drop of blood for our basic rights which have been accepted by United Nations Organisation (UNO),” said Altaf Ahmad Bhat.
He said one-lakh martyrs are the source of strength for the people of Jammu and Kashmir and nobody could dire to talk about the sell-out of the sacred blood of these martyrs. World community should come forward and take the strong note of the highhandedness of the Indian occupational forces on the name of so-called elections across the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
Altaf Bhat said the people of Jammu and Kashmir are fully aware of the role of pro-Indian parties and they will achieve nothing from New Delhi while they might be used to kill the freedom loving Kahsmiris and in past these parties supported to crush the Kashmiris, which is a stain on their faces.
Altaf Bhat asked the Government of India to release all the prisoners including the leaders of APHC and accept the ground realties in Jammu and Kashmir. The protestors were chanting full throat anti-election slogans and in favour of Kashmiris right of self-determination.-SANA
