HYDERABAD: Senior Vice Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Makhdoom Muhammad Amin Fahim said that President Asif Ali Zardari has represented Pakistan in UN General Assembly session in an effective manner. Talking to visitors and mediamen who visited his residence at Hala to exchange Eid greetings, Makhdoom Amin Fahim said President Asif Ali Zardari visited United Nations to address the General Assembly, where he also held satisfactory meetings with American think tanks and represented the country in an effective manner.
Makhdoom said on one hand, the country is facing external challenges while the other hand, price hike, unemployment, load shedding and law and order situation has made the lives of the people miserable and there is the need of making effective decisions to bring out the country from internal and external crisis.
The PPP Senior Vice Chairman dispelled the impression of any differences with the President Asif Ali Zardari adding that PPP is the largest political party of the country where every one has the right to express his opinion. He termed himself as the part of PPP adding that he could not think of leaving the party, which rendered great sacrifices for the restoration of democracy in the country.
Replying to a question, Makhdoom Muhammad Amin Fahim said that government has taken serious notice of attacks by foreign forces in tribal parts of the country adding thatgovernment has also initiated effective steps for combating terrorism. Responding to another question, he said that coalition between PPP and PML (N) in Punjab still exists where the government of both parties are striving for the welfare of the people.-APP
