RAWALPINDI: An accountability court in Rawalpindi has adjourned the hearing of three cases against Nawaz Sharif, Shahbaz Sharif and other members of their family till 7th of next month. The Special Judge (Central) Shaukat Ali Sajid has adjourned the hearing of three corruption references against the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and other family members till October 7. The Prosecutor General, National Accountability Bureau. Danishwar Malik appeared in the court here on Thursday.
He stated that all three references against Sharif family- Hudaibia Paper Mills, Ittefaq Foundry and Raiwind assets – were filed by the previous government. The government has not filed any case against the Sharif family, he added.
While Pakistan Muslim League-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif will leave on a one week visit to London on September 7. According to PML-N sources, the party Chief will embark on the UK visit in connection with the medical check up of his wife Kulsoom Nawaz immediately after the presidential elections to be held on September 6.-SANA
