UK wants safe passage for President

ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Sherry Rehman and Former UK Ambassador in Pakistan Mark Loyal Grant held a meeting on Monday, sources have revealed. Former ambassador on the behalf of his country tried to put pressure on government of Pakistan as UK wanted a ‘safe passage’ for President Musharraf. The former ambassador wanted to avoid impeachment of Musharraf.

In the meeting, the ambassador also tried to find out that Benazir Bhutto’s assassination case would be included in the charge sheet against the President or not. Meanwhile, Sherry Rehman told him that to say any thing about the inclusion is before time, sources told.-SANA
