ISLAMABAD: Pakistan is facing tough economic conditions and only vibrant economic activities can enable the country to meet the challenges. Hence, all the government agencies should facilitate new investments and encourage business and traders community by providing a conducive business environment, said Munawar Iqbal, Senior Vice President of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) and the president of Pakistan Computer Association (PCA).
Munawar Iqbal stated this while inaugurating the new retail outlet of Jamal & Brothers here in Blue Area Islamabad. He said that traders and business community have always played a vital role for the uplift and economic growth of the country and it’s an imperative on the part of the government and all concerned departments of the government to safeguard the interests of the community
While commenting on law & order situation in the federal capital, Munawar Iqbal said that some recent incidents have added the concerned of the community regarding safety and security. He urged the administration of Islamabad to take necessary step in this regard. He said that CDA as a responsible department for the uplift of the city should also redress the problems the business and trade community of the capital city ids being confronted presently.-SANA
