ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) Spokesman Siddiqul Farooq said on Thursday that the party would rejoin the federal cabinet as soon as proceedings to impeach the President started. Talking to a private television, he said PML-N Quaid Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has stated in clear words that he (President Musharraf) would have to go.
“As practical measures take start for which the PML-N had pulled back its members from the cabinet, it will rejoin the cabinet,” he said after issuance of the joint communiqué by the ruling coalition. Siddiqul Farooq said the joint communiqué has the full support of all the four coalition partners. He expressed confidence in the leadership of PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari and lauded his commitment to impeach the President and restore the deposed judiciary in accordance with the Murree Accord.-SANA
