Och clashes: Death toll rises to 12
MULTAN: Commenting on the Prime Minister’s televised address central leader Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Javid Hashmi said Sunday that Yousaf Raza Gilani didn’t told the public that allied parties were not taken into confidence over FATA operation and certain other issues. While talking to media men after addressing to Multan High Court Bar, he said that the government should take parliament into confidence about ongoing crisis in tribal areas and overall country’s situation. The nation has given mandate for the restoration of deposed judges, supremacy of the constitution, release of Dr AQ Khan and solution of Lal Masjad’ issue, Hashmi added.
In Dera Bugti Death toll in Och clashes between security forces and miscreants rose to12 as another two security personnel succumbed into injuries in Dera Bugti. Meanwhile, clashes between the security forces and the miscreants is continuing in Och area of Dera Bugti in which 12 persons including three security personnel have been died and 11 have been injured. While nine persons have been arrested.
The killed and the injured were shifted to CMH, Quetta. Sporadic firing is going on in mountains of Och. Security forces were recovered a large number of arms and explosives during the operation. According to official sources operation was started after rocket attack on Och Gas Field. BLA Spokesman Sarbaz Baloch claimed that several security personnel were killed in the fight.-SANA
