Federal Cabinet to be reshuffled, expended soon: PM

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has said that the Federal Cabinet would soon be reshuffled and expanded with the inclusion of new Ministers and Ministers of State. He was addressing a delegation of PPP Dubai, which called on him in Dubai on Thursday. The Prime Minister said neglected areas and regions would get representation in the expanded cabinet.

Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani said a review of the performance and functioning of each ministry would be carried out and he would appraise the masses of the achievements of the government during the first hundred days in an address to the nation. He said PPP has its roots in the entire four provinces and is a symbol of federation. People of Pakistan has reposed confidence in the party and it would not disappoint them.

The Prime Minister said he was unanimously elected as chief executive of the country, which is a unique honour. He asked Minister for Labour, Manpower and Overseas Pakistanis to make every endeavour for resolution of the problems being faced by overseas Pakistanis. He said the new Minister and Minister of State for Overseas Pakistanis would take oath, they would be able to devote more attention to their problems.-SANA
