ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz PML(N) Quaid Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif has said that his party is sincerely cooperating with the government to strengthen democracy in the country. Talking to newsmen at Islamabad Airport before his departure for London today, he said they have strong reasons to support the PPP led government but complained that the PML(N) was not taken into confidence on important issues like operation in FATA and increase in electricity and POL prices.
Mian Nawaz Sharif said that national policy formulation is the responsibility of the Parliament and no single party should take decisions on important issues. He said that they have so far been unable to translate the mandate of the people and the situation that exits today is the same as it was before February 18. He deplored that people are still suffering from price hike and unemployment.
To a question, the PML(N) Quaid said internal matters of the country have to be resolved by the representatives of the people and they would not accept any foreign advice in this connection.-SANA
