Turabi’s election as JI Amir to benefit Kashmir movement: JKSM

ISLAMABAD: Vice Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM) and senior leader of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Altaf Ahmad Bhat has congratulated the newly elected Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Abdur Rashid Turabi who has been elected for the three years to run the affairs of the largest religious party of Azad Jammu and Kashmir at the crucial phase of the Kashmir liberation movement.

While applauding the role of Abdur Rashid Turabi to make the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) a strong political voice of the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir aimed at supporting the Kashmiris brothers who fight against the illegal occupational forces to get liberated their motherland form the clutches of India. Altaf Ahmad Bhat said the people of Indian Occupied Jammu and Azad Jammu and Kashmir are well known to the role of Abdur Rashid Turabi to make the ongoing struggle successful and this man accorded the warm welcome to the Kashmiri refugees when nobody was ready to accept them.
Bhat said this is only the leader who stands with the youth of the 1990 era to make the Kashmiris resistance movement result oriented this is the cause that every freedom loving Kashmiri has great respect for this towering religious and political leader of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. He said the people of Jammu and Kashmir specially those who migrated Azad Kashmir in 1990s are fully aware of the commitment of Mr Turabi with their cause.

“ Abdur Rashid Turabi has celebrated all eid festivals from the 1990 till now with the Kashmiri refuges and such a character is of course asset for the next generation of Kashmiris and good lesson for our leadership to show the undaunted determination with the Kashmir cause,” Altaf Bhat added.
He said we pray for the success of new Amir Jamaat-e-Islami and hope that he would utilise his energy to keep the momentum of the ongoing struggle up which is of course the need of hour to foil the conspiracies which are being hatched to week the Kashmiris right of self-determination movement.-SANA
