ISLAMABAD: The Co-Chairman of the PPP has assured the APHC delegation that Kashmiris’ aspirations will be fully respected during dialogue process with India to resolve the long standing issue of Kashmir. He was talking to media along with APHC leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq after their talks here on Monday afternoon. Mr. Zardari said the philosophy and the stand of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto on Kashmir is a part of our manifesto and we want a durable solution of this issue.
The Chairman APHC Mirwaiz Umar Farooq urged India to demonstrate flexibility as shown by Pakistan for the resolution of this long standing issue. Later, PPP Secretary General Jahangir Badar read out a joint communique to the press. The communique says PPP and APHC after having deliberations have decided that they would not only establish the relationship which had been between PPP Shaheed leader Benazir Bhutto and APHC, but would further consolidate and promote it.-SANA
