No safe exit for Musharraf: Hafsa students
ISLAMABAD: Students of Lal Masjid and Jama’a Hafsa have demanded of the government not to provide safe exit to President Pervez Musharraf rather he and other responsible for Lal Masjid carnage should be arrested and trialed in the court of law. Addressing a protest rally organized by Jama’a Hafsa students former MNA Maulana Shah Adbdul Aziz, JUI-S Secretary Information Maulana Yousaf Shah, PML-N leader Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhary, Defense of Human Rights Convener Khalid Khawaja and other leaders said the present government will be considered as responsible for attacking the mosque if it provide safe exit to Musharraf.

They said that names of the responsible including Pervez Musharraf should be put on ECL adding that following the Supreme Court’s order the Jama’a Hafsa and Lal Masjid should be reconstructed and Maulan Abdul Aziz should be freed. Shah Abdul Aziz said, “We have started struggle to carry forward the mission of Maulana Abdul Aziz and the martyrs and we decided it after consultation.” He said they will go ahead for implementation of Sharia.

He said that Musharraf was the man who committed crimes against the nation and know he was demanding safe exit. On this occasion Kahlid Khawaja said that they had filed applications for FIR against Musharraf and they will bring the culprits to justice. Earlier, students of Lal Masjid and Jam’a Hafsa hold a protest. They were holding placards and banners inscribed with writings like bloods of the martyrs will bring revolution, and Sabilina Al-Jihad.

Musharraf not to resign: Memon
ISLAMABAD: Additional Secretary General of Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) Senator Nisar Memon has said that he rumors about it were for weakening the county. Talking to newsmen, Senator Nisar Memon said that President Pervez Musharraf was not resigning and the rumors were part of the efforts that were afoot for creating a crisis in the country, the rumor manufacturing factory working overtime at the behest of frustrated leadership of a particular party.

He vowed that the Q league would fully support President Musharraf and hurling bricks would be reciprocated with stones. He said the President has fulfilled all the promises, he made and the people were more concerned with the price-hikes and not with the restoration of judges. Nisar Memon said that each and every section of the constitutional package on presentation would be debated.

Hamid Gul for Musharraf trial
ISLAMABAD: ISI former Chief General ® Hamid Gul has suggested that President Musharraf should be trialed for violating the constitution. Addressing a seminar at the concluding ceremony of “Urs” of Bari Imam here on Friday, he said Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto were penalized since both had strengthened Pakistan’s nuclear program. He said Lal Mosque and Jamia Hafsa administration was willing to surrender; yet government launched operation at behest of America. On this occasion, former National Assembly Speaker Ch. Amir Hussain said western democracy was not in the interest of Pakistan and “Shariah” should be promulgated in the country.

Ch. Amir Hussain has said that President Pervez Musharraf should be reprimanded for mistakes he has made. PML-N leader Ishaq Dar also spoke on the occasion. He said nation would soon hear the good news of development of a long-range missile. He said economic mismanagement of previous government has resulted in present economic crisis.

Ex-service men for Musharraf impeachment
Ex-service men have demanded to impeach President Pervez Musharraf and bring him for trial. Addressing a news conference on Wednesday, Major General ® Shafique Ahmad urged for the re-instatement of deposed judges on Nov. 2 position and declared. “We do not accept the constitutional package” he added. He said that that the plunderers of the country’s wealth were acquitted under NRO and added that the President has no authority to write off loans worth billions.

He went on to say that President Musharraf has inflicted irreparable injuries to the country, his policies proved detrimental for the solution of Kashmir conflict and, therefore, he should be impeached and court marshaled. He demanded that the military men should not be posted anywhere except in the military. Gen. Shafiue announced that ex-service men would march shoulder-to-shoulder along with the lawyers. He said Muslim League-N has nothing to do with their sudden political activism.

Lawyers movement has taken momentum and seems like they will play their role in sending Musharraf back.
