Reaction over Islamabad blast

President, PM condemn Islamabad blast
ISLAMABAD: President Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani have strongly condemned a bomb blast in Danish Embassy and termed it as a conspiracy to sabotage law and order situation. President and Prime Minister said that the probe would be immediately launched into incident and to hunt the culprits. Similarly, Punjab Chief Minister Dost Muhammad Khosa, Sindh Governor Ishrt-ul-Ebad , JI Amir Qazi Hussain Aahmad, PTI Chairman Imran Khan , PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif , JI senior leader Liaquat Baloch also strongly condemned the explosion.

Zardari condemns Danish Embassy blast
ISLAMABAD: Senator Asif Ali Zardari, Co Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has condemned a terrorist attack targeting Denmark Embassy in Islamabad that resulted in the loss of precious lives. He said that shedding the blood of the innocent people in the name of a cause or religion was despicable and must be rejected and condemned by all. While expressing condolences with the families of the bereaved the PPP Co-Chairman said that it was very unfortunate that terrorist were trying to create chaos and insecurity in the country and had repeatedly brought a bad name to the country. “Our prayers and sympathies are with the families of those who lost their lives in this incident” he added. He said that Pakistan Peoples Party realizes the grave threat that such terrorist activities pose to the country and PPP Government will do everything possible to check the activities of such elements and those responsible will be brought to justice.

MQM Quaid condemns Islamabad blast
LONDON: Leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has strongly condemned Islamabad bomb blast. In a statement, Altaf expressed sorrow over killings and injuries in the blast and said the elements involved in this heinous crime are enemies of humanity and they wanted to ruin Pakistan’s reputation globally. He demanded the government to arrest culprits and take stern measures for the security of common man of the country.

Rehman Malik strongly condemns Islamabad blast
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Advisor on Interior Rehman Malik has said that an investigation team has been constituted to investigate into Islamabad bomb blast and results of preliminary investigations will come out in 24 hours. Talking to private TV channel on Monday, Rehman Malik strongly condemned the bombing near Danish Embassy in the capital and said such terrorist acts were meant to tarnish the image of the Muslims. He said a joint investigation team comprising officials of FIA, Police and Intelligence agencies would undertake probe into the blast. Rehman Malik said there was no tip-off of any suicide bomber entering Islamabad; however, the bombing could be a reaction to blasphemous cartoon published in Denmark. He said the blast claimed lives of 2 police personnel.

Naveed Qamar condemns Islamabad blast
ISLAMABA: Syed Naveed Qamar Federal Minister for Privatisation, Investment & Finance has strongly condemned the brutal bomb blast in Islamabad, which resulted in the loss of the lives of a number of innocent people. He expressed his deep grief and sorrow over the tragic deaths of innocent Muslim brethren. He termed it as a cowardly act and prayed to the Almighty Allah to shower His blessings over all departed souls and to give courage and fortitude to the members of the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss with patience and equanimity. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of those who were injured in this sad incident.

Ahmad Mukhtar denounces Islamabad bomb blast
RAWALPINDI: Federal Minister for Defence, Ch. Ahmed Mukhtar, has strongly condemned a bomb blast in the parking area of the Embassy of Denmark, in which precious human lives have been lost. Condemning highly cruel and cowardice act and the hidden hands involved in it would soon be taken to task and exemplary punishment would be given to them. The Minister expressed deep shock over the loss of innocent lives in the bomb blast. In his condolence message with the bereaved families, the Minister prayed to almighty Allah to shower his blessings on the departed souls and grant courage and fortitude to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss and patience and equanimity.

Soomro, Jamali deplore Islamabad blast
ISLAMABAD: The Chairman Senate, Mr. Muhammadmian Soomro and Mr. Jan Muhammad Khan Jamali, Deputy Chairman Senate have strongly condemned the bomb blast occurring near Denmark Embassy here today, which claimed several precious lives besides causing injuries to several persons. They termed it as a dastardly act designed to demoralize the people and to bring the country into disrepute besides scaring away the potential investors and tourists. The Chairman Senate and Deputy Chairman Senate have expressed their heartfelt condolences to the families who have lost their near and dear ones in the tragedy and wished speedy recovery to all those who sustained injuries in the blast. They appealed to the people to remain united for foiling the designs of the enemies of the country and prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant courage and fortitude to the bereaved families to bear this loss with equanimity.
