PPP announces party tickets for by-polls

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentary Board has announced party ticket allocation for three National Assembly Seats and 18 Provincial Assemblies’ seats from all four provinces of the country for the Bye-elections to be held on June 26, 2008. According to press release issued from the Press Office Zardari House on Thursday, the tickets were allocated to NA 147 Okara 5 to Moazzam Wattoo.

Similarly, the tickets were provided of Punjab Provincial Assembly to PP 59 Faisalabad – IX Qasim Zia, PP 70 Faisalabad XX Mismail, PP 99 Gujranwala IX Qaiser Iqbal Sindhu, PP 107 Hafizabad III Babar Sohail, PP 118 Mandi Bahauddin III Zulfiqar Gondal, PP 171 Nankana Sahib II Rai ejaz, PP 219 Khanewal VIII Mureed Quraishi, PP 277 Bahawalnagar I Tariq Gadoka, PP 258 Muzafargarh VIII Zakaullah, PP 295 Rahimyar Khan , Abdul Qadir Gillani.

The tickets were provided of NA 207 Larkana IV to Faryal Talpur (Elected Unopposed) while tickets for Sindh provincial Assembly were given to PS 30 Khairpur II Syed Bachal Shah, PS 44 Matiari Amir Ali Shah Hashmi, PS 62 Tharparkar III Sharjeel Memon. While tickets for Balochistan Provincial assembly provided to PB 9 Pishin II Asfandyar Khan, PP 44 Lasbela I Ghulam AKBAR Lasi and NWFP, NA 11 Mardan III Khanzada Khan and PF 59 Batagram I Akhtar Javed, PF 82 Swat II Afzal Shah, PF 91 Upper Dir I Manwar Khan.-SANA
