Political parties, lawyers and retired army generals are demanding Musharraf should leave army house as he is no more the army chief.
LAHORE: A lawyer group, ‘Adleya Bachao Tehrik’ (Save Judiciary Movement) filed the petition in the Supreme Court registry in Lahore, seeking President Pervez Musharraf out of the army house, was filed in the Supreme Court on Wednesday, lawyers said. President Musharraf has been living in army house in the garrison city of Rawalpindi since November 2007 when he relinquished the office of the army chief.

Opposition parties accuse President Musharraf of using army house for political activities. The petitioner in his petition under Article 184 A pleaded to the court that President Musharraf has been retired as the Army Chief so he can not reside in the Army House. “He has illegally occupied the Army House since Nov. 15, 2007,” the petitioner said.-SANA
