US delegation visits Pakistan and meet Musharraf

ISLAMABAD: Two-member delegation of the US Senate reached here on one-day visit for meeting senior officials of the government and other leaders in Pakistan. US Embassy spokesperson here said that Senator Carl Levin and Senator Robert Casey have reached Pakistan. Senator Carl Levin is the chief of armed services committee of US senate and he is placed among the top-ten US influential senators besides he has been opposing US war in Iraq. They have met President Musharraf

The other delegate Senator Robert Casey is the member of foreign affairs relations. “US senate’s members will be meeting top personalities of the government during the visit here, while their appointments are fixed with the senior political leaders”, said the US Embassy spokesperson.-SANA
