Govt wants peace with India: Nawaz

ISLAMABAD: PML Quaid Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif says the new government is committed to peace with India. In an interview with an Indian TV channel, he said a foundation has already been laid by signing the historic Lahore document with former Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee for initiating the dialogue process to resolve all outstanding issues. To a question regarding Kashmir dispute, he said there is need to build more confidence to resolve this issue. He said that both the sides should make a serious resolve for amicable solution of this longstanding issue.-SANA
