Draft constitutional package sent to presidency

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party Tuesday dispatched the draft of constitutional package to Presidential House. Federal Minister for Law, Farooq H. Naek had already announced on Monday that the constitutional package had been finalized which, he said, may be tabled in the Parliament before the federal budget. The draft will also be dispatched to the chiefs of the ruling coalition parties, source said. The package is expected to include modus operandi for re-in-statement and removal of judges besides it may also redefine the president’s powers through introducing 18th amendment of the Constitution. Farooq Naek said the constitutional package contained a number of proposals.-SANA
