The Secretary General JUI(F) Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri has said that his party is in contact with senior leaders of both PPP and PML(N) for reconciliation. Talking to APP in Islamabad today he said the break up in the coalition will weaken the democratic process in the country.He said dialogue is the only way for solution of any problem and judges issue can also be resolved this way.
The Awami National Party has urged both the PPP and PML(N) to continue their cooperation to strengthen the institutions and make the judiciary independent. In an interview a central leader of the party Haji Muhammad Adeel said ANP desires that both the coalition partners should have evolved consensus on mode of judges reinstatement.
Most of the elements and people with political will has said that Musharraf was behind this split, and this split will further the cause of including PML-Q in government while MQM has already joined hands with PPP. It is the dire need of time to include PML-N which has tendered resignations from the ministries on basis of principals, and this for the first time in history of Pakistan that some political party has not compromised on the principals.
Every party and everyone in Pakistan is starving to see the restored judges in November , 2007 as per Murree declaration. Zaradri along with the Musharraf is not seemingly agreed to do so, a constitutional package is being brought that will create more hurdles, this package will be in shape of 18th amendment in constitution. That package according to sources will be increasing the retirement age of judges, shortening the duration of judges, and creating new seats for disposed judges.
