Zardari, Altaf vows to cooperate

Asif Ali Zardari and Altaf Hussain have vowed to cooperate to resolve innumerable problems being faced by the people and for greater interests of the country. In an interview after their meeting in London, Asif Ali Zardari said he always believed in reconciliation with all political forces in the country and expressed the hope that with the blessings of Allah Almighty they would succeed.

He said during his talks with Altaf Hussain they agreed on the future course of action and all problems of Sindh and Karachi will be solved with a spirit of understanding and cooperation. To a question, Asif Ali Zardari said his friendship and cooperation with PML (N) Quaid Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif would continue as they have commonalities of views on many issues.

MQM Leader Altaf Hussain said it will be in the interest of the country and the people that issues like restoration of the deposed judges should be resolved as soon as possible. He said they recognize that PPP is the biggest political party of the country. In reply to a question he said the PPP and PML (N) should follow the path of give and take to resolve the issue of deposed judges.

LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement Chief Altaf Hussain has said all political forces should consolidate democratic process in the country to resolve problems faced by common people. The meeting between PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and MQM Chief Altaf Hussain continues in London. During their meeting, Altaf Hussain offered “Fatiha” for Shaheed Chairperson of PPP Benazir Bhutto. Altaf also presented a framed poem to Asif Zardari, which he wrote for slain PPP leader.-SANA
