SPAIN: The Asian countries have agreed to set up the foreign exchange pool of eighty billion dollars to meet another regional financial crisis. The consensus was reached in a meeting of the Finance Ministers of 13-nations organization, ASEAN in Spain. A joint statement issued after talks said China, Japan and South Korea would provide eighty per cent of the funds. Meanwhile, the Asian Development Bank has predicted that Asia’s developing economies would be expanded by seven point six per cent by the end of this year.-SANA
