Speech Writer of former PM Shaukat Aziz, Khalil killed by his wife

ISLAMABAD: Speech writer of former Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and known journalist Khalil Malik was assassinated by his third wife Saira Khan Wednesday morning at their Farm House in Islamabad. Saira Khan was working as reporter with a private tv channel. Lately two were separated and Malik divorced Saira Khan in November last. Its not known as why they had started living togather.

Saira, according to police, after killing Khalil Malik committed suicide. Khalil Malik was previously not only a speech writer of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif but was considered a close advisor. Khalil Malik had authored a book highly volatile against slain prime minister of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto and her husband Asif Ali Zardari.

Khalil Malik and spouse death report asked in 24 hours
ISLAMABAD: Advisor to Prime Minister on Interior Rehman Malik has directed the concerned officials to submit a report on the killing of the senior journalist Khalil Malik and his spouse within 24 hours. Taking strong note of the grisly act, Advisor on Interior has asked Inspector General fo Police Islamabad for a thorough probe constituting a high profile committee of the officials.

Rehman Malik expressed his deep sorrow and delivered condolences to the bereaved family and assured them of punitive action against the perpetrators of the act. Khalil Mailk and his wife Sara were found dead at their residence Wednesday morning with gun shots in their head. Police have undertaken the investigations.
