Benazir Bhutto was assissinated by a professional Sharp Shooter: Hamid Gul

by Azhar masood
ISLAMABAD: Former Spymaster of Pakistan Retired Lt. Gen. Hamid Gull stated here Wednesday,”former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto was killed by a professional sharpshooter from a long distance with a sniper”. Gen.Gull made this statement after the General Hospital of Rawalpindi admitted that some thing broke skull of Benazir and her brain matter was oozing out when she was brought to the Emergency Ward of General Hospital.

General hamid Gull said it was a perfect planning to kill Benazir Bhutto.”First a blast, few pistol shots they were all to create confusion but former prime minister was killed by a sharp shooter from a distance”. He ruled out the possibility of Talebans’ involvement and accused a segment of Establishment in this murder with an argument,”Talebans were not there to remove vital evidence from the scene of murder it was Rawalpindi Municipality so some body from Punjab government must have ordered removal of evidence”.

Gull made these comments after the Parliament passed a resolution for United Nations’. Similar views were expressed by another ex Director General of the Inter-Services Intelligence Lt.Gen.(R) Assad Durrani. He said not its very clear that a segment of Establishment was involved in this high profile murder asking,”Why the Deputy Inspector General of Rawalpindi Range ,District Police Officer, District Coordination Officer and even the Station House Officer of local Police Station were absent from Liaquat garden at the time of murder. As a matter of protocol of a former prime minister these officials must have made sufficient security arrangement.

Now when a PPP-led Coalition has established its governments at Federal and provincial levels many important figures have started spilling beans about Benazir Bhutto’s assassination.
