MQM can’t afford to sit on opposition benches: Khawaja Asif

ISLAMABAD: Commenting on MQM assertion that it will sit on opposition benches in Sindh Assembly and the National Assembly, Federal Minister for Petroleum Khawaja Asif has termed MQM threat as a pressure tactics saying the party cannot afford to sit in opposition and. “MQM is using different tactics to put pressure on the government. It will review it decision and will hold negotiation with PPP after some days as it cannot afford to sit on opposition benches,” the minister said.

MQM is trying to get maximum benefits through different tactics, he added. The coalition government should not succumb to any undemocratic demands of the party which has a history of exploitation in the past.-SANA
