32 percent price-hike recorded

ISLAMABAD: Three percent hike in price was recorded during the previous week. According to the Federal Statistics Department, Sensitive Price Index (SPI) experienced increase in prices of 23 items of daily use, decrease in the price of 11 and stability in the price of 19 items during a survey of 53 daily use items.

According to the Statistics Department, high increase in the price of electricity was recorded that was 10 percent against the highest decrease in the LPG price that was 4 percent. Electricity, Flour, Eggs, Red Chilli and Milk prices went up while prices of LPG, tomato, garlic, ghee and chicken meat went down during the preceding week.-SANA
