GHARI KHUDABAKSH (Larkana): The 29th death anniversary of former Prime Minister of Pakistan Shaheed Zulifqar Ali Bhutto is being observed on Friday. Special prayers will be offered for the soul of Zulifqar Ali Bhutto, Benazir Butto and the development and prosperity of the country and unity of Ummah after Fajr prayers. People in large number from all the four provinces, Northern areas and Kashmir are reaching Ghari Khudabaksh near Larkana to pay homage to the great leader.
Separate camps have been set up to accommodate the leaders and workers from all over the country. Reception camps have also been established to receive the party leaders and workers.
The Pakistan Peoples Party has finalized all the arrangements to mark the day. The anniversary functions have started from Thursday evening which will continue till Friday. A public meeting has also been organized in Larkana which would be addressed by the Co-chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party Asif Ali Zardari and the party’s central leaders.
A documentary depicting various aspects of the life and achievements of Zulifqar Ali Bhutto would also be shown on the occasion. Meanwhile, people in very large number from all the four provinces on Thursday visited the Mazar of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh. Prominent among those who visited the mazar of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto include the PPP Senior Vice Chairman Makhddom Amin Fahim, Speaker National Assembly, Dr. Fehmida Mirza, Federal Ministers Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Raja Pervez Ashraf, Farooq H. Naek and party spokesman Farhatullah Babar.-SANA
