Pakistan ought to maneuver Careful policy: APHC

ISLAMABAD: All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Chairman Syed Ali Shah Gillani said Thursday that Pakistan should carefully handle Kashmir policy. Talking to a private TV channel he said by calling in leadership of National Conference and Democratic Party, the Pakistani government has added insult to the injuries of the Kashmiri people. He said that US influence over the Kashmir policy — drafted, during the regime of Musharraf, after 9/11 — will persist for some time. He said, “Therefore Pakistan should carefully tackle the policy regarding Kashmir.”

He said Kashmiri people were being shocked by the policy of Musharraf’s regime adding that the people stunned at the invitation, which the Pakistani rulers had extended to leaders of National Conference and Democratic Party and holding joint press conferences with them. The APHC leader said, “The people, who were invited by Pakistan, are partners of Indian forces in carrying out massacre against the people of Kashmir as they are asking the Indian authorities to kill the arrested people as Kashmiris jails have no further room.” He concluded that Musharraf have caused irreparable losses to the cause of Kashmir and Kashmiri people. -SANA
